Message from the Managing Director
Q1 has been incredibly exciting so far. We’ve had new partnerships, customer visits, projects going live, and new opportunities to add value to our customer’s businesses. As always, we hugely appreciate our loyal customer base and are working hard to collaborate with you as we put plans together for a great 2025. We’re also celebrating National Apprenticeship Week this month, recognising the hard work and potential of the next generation. We’re proud to support apprentices as they take their first steps in the industry. There’s plenty more to come this quarter, and I look forward to seeing what we achieve together.
Congratulations Jake
Our Finance Administrator has passed his Level 3 AAT in Diploma in Accounting. Jake started working with Alwayse three years ago and completed his Level 2 AAT apprenticeship in Accounts and Finance Assistant. Please join us in celebrating Jake’s achievement. We will continue to support Jake as he starts his Level 4 apprenticeship.
Customer Feedback
A recent conversation with a customer highlighted the impressive longevity of our ball transfer units in tough environments. After 17 years, a set of carbon steel units exposed to moisture showed signs of wear. Their nearly two-decade lifespan speaks volumes about the durability of the technology.
Welcome Sumaya
Sumaya joins us for an afternoon once a week while studying for her A Levels to gain hands-on business management experience at Alwayse. She is focusing on purchasing, which gives her experience ranging from raising orders to learning about supplier relationships. Her curiosity and willingness to learn have impressed the team, giving her a strong foundation for her future studies and career. We’re proud to support young talent.
BIL Partnership
Last Wednesday, we welcomed BIL Group for an Engagement Day, featuring product training, factory tours, and collaboration on key market sectors. We wrapped up with a clear action plan – Alwayse products will soon be available via BIL’s website. This marks the start of a great partnership, and we look forward to working together to deliver innovative solutions.
Heathrow T5
Claire and James had the opportunity to see our ball transfer units in action behind the scenes at Heathrow T5. Manufactured in the UK to the highest standards, these units have been in continuous operation since Terminal 5 opened 17 years ago. Designed for durability and reliability, they have been running 24 hours a day, proving their long service life in one of the busiest airport environments.
