THE CHALLENGE
Dip-Tech is a global pioneer of digital ceramic glass printing solutions. Their machines handle large sheets of glass up to 2223 kg with high precision.
The machines must also be capable of multi-directional movement and not mark the glass at any point.
Could Alwayse provide a bespoke movement solution to fit these requirements?
THE SMART SOLUTION
Alwayse designed a Ball Transfer Unit fixed to ‘glide strips’ that provides effortless 360° movement for perfectly precise positioning.
A phenolic load ball was used in order to keep the glass clean and bear the brunt of heavy weights.
Multiple sizes of glass can be handled without machine adjustment, greatly increasing flexibility.
For glass handling and processing, no name carries more weight than Alwayse.
