Today, Alwayse partnered with Make UK to celebrate National Manufacturing Day by hosting an open day. According to Make UK, “National Manufacturing Day is an opportunity for manufacturers to showcase the range of highly skilled and well-paid jobs they have on offer by throwing open their doors in a UK wide Open House on Thursday 26th September 2024. National Manufacturing Day will help show the reality of modern manufacturing careers, looking to engage with students, parents, teachers, community leaders and local residents.” You can find out more about the day here.
Alwayse Open Day
Alwayse welcomed 14 students from Aston Manor Academy for an exciting, educational open day. The students were given a hands-on experience of manufacturing, exploring the industry’s innovative technologies and opportunities. They toured our factory and learned about the various roles involved in the production process. Throughout the day, our team explained the many career paths available in manufacturing, from engineering to design and logistics. The students asked insightful questions, showing great interest in the sector.
Inspiring Future Generations of Manufacturing
This event was a fantastic chance for young people to engage with manufacturing firsthand. The students were well behaved, engaging and asked lots of questions. They left with a better understanding of the skills and knowledge required in the industry. And by the end of the day, the students felt inspired by the range of opportunities in manufacturing.
